This is the first time for me to set up a blog and it'll be a bit hard to manage this I guess 'cause I'm quite lazy.
My name is Mao, born on February 25th, and I'm still 18.
I don't belong to any society so I have nothing to talk about those kinds of things.
I expected myself to join in some society before entering this uni but the expectation failed due to my laziness that prevents me from going to certain activities regularly.
I'm so indoor.
Anyway, I will do my best for this course and I'd like to say yoroshiku to all my new classmates.
My interests are not so different from those of others like music, readings, games, etc.
Amongst them, I particularly love the following genre: shoegazer.
It includes My Bloody Valentine, Ringo Deathstarr, Coaltar of the Deepers.
If you know the genre or this kind of bands, let me know.
I also like UK rocks such as Radiohead, the Kooks, the Cribs, Mogwai, etc.
My academic interests lay in philosophy, economics and possibly politics.
The most attractive philosophers to me are Friedrich Nietzsche and Ludwig Wittgenstein although I do not comprehend even a piece of their ideas.
In regard to economics, I'm taking Principles of Microeconomics and International Finance in this term.
I'm worrying whether I can get decent grades.
If you are interested in economics and try a class of the discipline, I strongly recommend you that you take one of Prof. Montgomery.
She conducts a very good teaching and her lectures are so interactive and challenging.
I guarantee her lectures will inspire you.
